Backstreet’s back, alright! Before we had the new wave of imported boy bands like One Direction and The Wanted dating pop princesses and bitter country starlets, we had the All American boy bands in the 90′s and 2000′s, who ushered in the new wave of bubblegum pop music with sleek choreographed dance moves and lyrics that made our hearts melt.

Since then, boy bands have come and gone. While an *N Sync reunion will most likely never happen (ugh, thanks for having a successful solo career Justin Timberlake!), there is one group that has managed to stick around over the years. The Backstreet Boys have managed to stay in the music scene (even with one less member at times), and have no plans to slow down anytime soon. Brian, Nick, AJ, Howie and Kevin left their fans wanting more after their mega successful NKOTBSB Tour with fellow boyband pioneers, The New Kids On The Block last year, and it looks like they won’t disappoint!

“I Want It That Way” singers are going to release their eighth album, In A World Like This, on July 30th. The album is not only their highly anticipated comeback as a fivesome, but aso a celebration of 20 years together as a band. What’s more exciting than the album itself? BSB is collaborating with the man who collaborated with them on some of their most successful singles! The album’s first single, “In A World Like This,” was written and produced by Max Martin, who previously collaborated with BSB on their classic hits “I Want It That Way,” “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back),” and “Quit Playin’ Games (With My Heart.”

Instead of trying to keep up with the current trends in music, the guys went with a sound that works best for them. The track is a more mature sound, but still has a cool vibe to it. If the rest of the album sounds like this, I’m looking forward to it!

Check out BSB’s new single, and take a look at the official track list  of In A World Like This!

1. In A World Like This
2. Permanent Stain
3. Breathe
4. Madeleine
5. Show ‘Em (What You’re Made Of)
6. Make Believe
7. Try
8. Trust Me
9. Love Somebody
10. One Phone Call
11. Feels Like Home
12. Soldier

It’s hard to believe that it’s been over 12 years since the first Fast And The Furious franchise zoomed into our lives, did a couple donuts, had some explosions, and did a perfect parking job on our hearts in 2001.

Fast forward to today, and just like the ageless perfection that is Paul Walker, this action-packed story gets us excited every time we see it. What’s the secret to the success of this larger than life movie franchise? There’s no shortage of films with fancy cars and action scenes that give you an adrenaline rush, but what makes Fast & Furious special is the undeniable chemistry between the cast, especially the female cast members.

Teen Scene recently caught up with the film’s gorgeous leading ladies, Gina CaranoGal Gadot andElsa Pataky live from a rooftop in London via Google+ Hangout. Guys, I know that it’s hard to look away from the breathtaking views of the city and Big Ben in the background, but try to focus on the interview. You can watch the video below:

The Fast & Furious ladies looked beautiful as always and show us that even though there are several strong men in the film, girl power is an essential part of the franchise. After a Powerpuff Girls chant and what might be the sexiest fist pounding, the ladies opened up about why girl power is at its best in Fast And Furious 6.

“It’s getting better and better,” Gadot exclaimed. “I think that it really reflects reality because in reality, women are strong. You know what, it’s very rare to go to the cinema, and see a movie that expresses that. And, Justin Lee is one of the most amazing people I ever got to work with. He’s very sensitive to that. And, he has a lot of respect for women. And, I think that that’s why it’s so very important for Justin to show empowered women. I think that we’re are all so lucky to be able to do it.”

“I think one of the best things about my ‘Haywire’ experience is when the boys or the boyfriends take the girlfriends to go see the movies, and when the girlfriends came out punching and kicking! ‘I like that movie too,’” Carano said. She went on to talk about the franchise’s loyal female fan base as well. “I think that in the movie, because it does have such a strong female base, I think they’re starting to associate more and more with the action films.”

Pataky lit up as she talked about more women wanting to go see action movies like Fast & Furious. “I want to see it! Not just because I want to go see guys fighting. I’m gonna see strong women that are fighting to defend themselves. They don’t need to be saved by the hero; they are the hero.

“The beginning was like cars and races and men, beautiful girls. Now, it’s like all that, but with beautiful girls that now have to fight. They’re really strong and tough. It’s great, it’s fun!”

You can see Gal, Gina, and Elsa in Fast And Furious 6 in theaters this Friday, May 24th.

After teasing us with four all-too-short clips this week, Demi Lovato has finally released her new music video for “Heart Attack!” The artsy video, which was directed by Chris Applebaum, features the X Factor judge looking nothing short of fabulous in a variety of chic looks.

The video starts off with Demi looking super glamorous, with her hair slicked back, as she rises from what looks like a tub filled with black paint. If this is a new beauty trend that will give you a glow like hers, sign me up! The video also shows the singer looking fierce in a white t shirt and black gloves as she covers herself with black paint while singing along to the song. This look reminds us of the gorgeous cover for her upcoming studio album, Demi (out May 14). There’s also the classic scenes with Demi rocking out with her band with cool lights flashing behind them. It’s nice to see that our girl can pull off the high fashion looks, as well as rock out with the guys!

It looks like Demi is taking her fans on a more mature route with this new album. Watch the music video, and try not to have heart palpitations!

Who says that Perez Hilton can’t be nice? The famous blogger featured my new interview with Aaron Carter on his website earlier today, and was nothing but nice!

Looks like he loved my fan questions as much as I did! I mean…who doesn’t want to know what Beyoncé smells like? SPOILER ALERT: It’s Victoria’s Secret and soap. Very sexy!

Thanks for the love Perez! Always knew that I loved you!

After what seems like a year without rain, the drought has finally ended, as Selena Gomez‘s mesmerizing new single has leaked early!

The Ester Dean penned and Stargate produced track is a breezy vacation from everything else that our favorite pop divas are currently doing on the radio. She may not have a voice as big as fellow former Disney star, Demi Lovato, but Selena’s breathy vocals are just what the song needed to fuse the Bollywood and electro-pop sound, and make it work.

And, can we talk about the alluring “This love will be the death of me” bridge for point two seconds? AMAZING!

The song may not be as catchy as “Who Says” and “Love You Like A Love Song,” but the song’s definitely a grower, and a step in the right direction for the singer! I love that she’s trying something different, and also getting a little deeper with her lyrics! (not that “you are the thunder, and I am the lightning” isn’t deep)

Are you ready to come and get it? Click HERE to download the song on iTunes!

What does Aaron Carter think about Lindsay Lohan’s career (if we still wanna call it that)? No ex bashing here! The singer, who has had his own ups and downs in his career, had nothing, but kind words for his former girlfriend during our sit down interview.

“I love that girl. She’ll always have a beautiful place in my heart. She’s a great person,” the singer said about the sometimes actress. “She just deals with struggles like we all do. We’re human, you know? It’s important for others to embrace somebody while they’re down; not kick them while they’re down. I don’t have intentions like that. I’ll always be there for her.”

It’s nice to see exes showing support for each other! Maybe a collaboration in the future? Maybe an “I Want Candy 2.0?” Don’t count on it, but it’s kind of cool to think about!

Lindsay’s not the only fellow star that Aaron showed love for in our interview. When asked if he was more of a Belieber or a Directioner, the popstar gushed about his love for the Biebs! Don’t worry, Directioners….he’s still loves 1D, and even tweeted them advice on how not to become a “whack boyband!” Awwww, yes! Gotta love a bromance!

The “Aaron’s Party” singer also answered some pretty interesting fan questions in our interview. What does Beyoncé smell like? How many points did he beat Shaq by in their infamous one on one basketball game? Watch the video to find out!

As I scoped the crowd moments before Olly Murs took the stage at his very first headlining gig in New York City, it was clear that this all-ages general admission show was quite segregated. The fans were squished in the front while moms holding their daughters’’ coats joined label execs and people of drinking age in the back (it certainly helped that the bar was right there).

I decided to stand at the border between fans and spectators while anxiously awaiting the entrance of this ‘X Factor UK’ season 6 runner-up.

“Dance With Me Tonight” began to play revealing a full band, two energetic back-up dancers, and an Olly Murs! Sporting his signature fedora, Olly actively worked the crowd during this infectious song off his second album, which was undoubtedly a crowd pleaser making even the moms, label execs, and bystanders holding alcoholic beverages, bob their heads and dance.

Watching Olly cheekily play and interact with his fans (especially the female ones!) was a total delight. It was obvious that he was thankful and appreciative of every body in the audience and made sure we all knew of it.

Having only heard a handful of his material prior to the show, I was pleasantly surprised that every song Olly performed (including his current single “Troublemaker”) was actually really good. The mix of doo-wop, soul, and pop was exactly what I needed to warm up after enduring a frigidly cold day in the city.

He beat boxed, did a Stevie Wonder medley (containing “Superstition”, the song he auditioned with), swooned a few lucky ladies in the front row, sang ‘New York, New York’ while slightly butchering the lyrics (it was endearing so I let it slide, especially since I don’t know every word to “God Save The Queen”), and even charmed the shirt off a guy (true story).

After an hour and a half set, the fans, the moms, the music execs, and the spectators like myself were all mixed into one big happy crowd.

Welcome to the states, Olly! Can’t wait for your first US-released album, Right Place Right Time, to hit the shelves on April 16th.

For my latest photoshoot with photographer, William Nawrocki, we thought that it would be fun to pick a brand new location that had some awesome history to it! We picked The Yankee Pedlar Inn, in Torrington, CT for of it’s classic vibe and beautiful setup. The hotel was also featured in the movie, The Inn Keepers! No ghosts were seen during the photoshoot, but the lights did flicker a few times….okay, not really, but we can pretend!

Thanks to my AWESOME team for helping me look so great at the photoshoot! I clean up pretty nicely wit the right hair, makeup, and lighting!

Excuse me while I pinch myself! Nope….not dreaming! THIS IS REAL LIFE! Today, I not only got the oppurtunity to watch one of my idols, the one and only Anderson Cooper, during a live taping of his show in New York City, but I was also asked by the show to be one of his live tweeters for the day!

I would say that I’m a very ambitious person. I didn’t think that it was possible to be anymore driven than I already am. But, to watch Anderson do his thing live a few feet in front of me, gave me that extra boost to dream even bigger than I ever thought that I could dream!

Thank you to all of YOU who watch my videos and show all of your love and support! This is our year!

xx Pete
